The Family

Let me introduce you to:

Our oldest and only son, Liam, is quite the charmer.  He knows how to put on that smile that makes it hard to say "no."  He is loving K5 (which we home school for) and is probably becoming too smart for his own good.  He has a strong interest in music.  He is just like his daddy in that he has a very tender heart is quite the sweet little boy.  He is a "mama's boy" but in the best sense of the term.  I love it!  He currently is very much into Angry Birds.  And getting quite good at it, I might add!

Next we have our Leila-girl.  To say that she is full of energy would be an understatement.  She is always either running or jumping or hopping or tripping everywhere she goes.  She loves playing with her Strawberry Shortcake dolls and is usually only a few steps away from me.  She is becoming my little helper by emptying the dishwasher with me, watching/helping me cook and bake, helping me sweep, and helping with the baby.  She brings us constant laughs with the things she says and does.

Our third child is our sweet Libby-cakes.  She is definitely a daddy's girl and is always wanting to be held by her Daddy.  If she is not near him, she is saying his name and looking for him.  She most always has a smile on her face and is almost always very happy.  She is constantly gets into anything within reach - which is a lot!  Her favorite "toys" are mommy's cell phone and the t.v. remote.  She loves to pull books and DVDs off the shelves and has recently discovered that she can throw.  So she does - all the time and everything!  She has the most kissable cheeks and it doesn't take but a few seconds for her to gain an admirer once she flashes her beautiful smile.

Lexi Grace is our newest addition to the fam.  She was born in January of 2012  She is precious, cutie-pie  with a great set of lungs.  So far she is proving to be the "hardest" newborn with a lot more crying and such, but we are working through it (or getting used to is.  Ha!).  She is fiting in well with our family.  Her older siblings are loving her and they are always wanting to help out.  Let me tell you, giving a newborn a bath with three little helpers can be quite the task!  But it is so much fun to see them love her and want to be involved.  And its really nice to be able to say, "Hey Leila, can you run and get me a burp cloth for Lexi?" :-)

Matt and I have been married for  7 years and truly have a good marriage.  We are not perfect by any means, but we are doing our best to place the Lord at the center of our relationship.  We love to play board games and the Wii together, although he almost always beats me (which I am NOT bitter about- really!).  Matt is a wonderful husband, father, and pastor (yup - he's my pastor too!).  We are so blessed to have been led to each other by clear leading from God.  You can read our whole story by clicking on the "Our Story" under Labels on the sidebar of this blog.  I am so thankful to be married to my best friend (and I am not just saying that - he truly is) and I love him so much more than I did when we were married on June 11, 2005.
