Resting in the Lord

Mouse passed away early this morning.  My Aunt Susi was able to be with her and we are told that she went very peacefully.  Even when you know death is imminent, it doesn't make it any easier when the time comes.  I just praise the Lord so much of my family were able to see her this last weekend.  We do not know the condition of her spiritual heart when she left us, but we know that we did what we could to show her God's love and his plan for salvation, and we are resting in that.  I know that even until the very end, she was able to hear everyone when they talked to her.  On Saturday, my parents, some of their friends, and my brother all circled her bed, holding hands and sang Amazing Grace and shared the gospel with her one last time.  They prayed over her as well.  I know that was an encouragement to my mom and dad, especially since some of the other unsaved family members were in the room and witnessed all that took place.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers, and the reality sets in that she is gone.  Right now we all know it in our heads, but it will slowly become more "real" and then is when it gets harder.  Please pray that we will continue to be able to shine a light to the rest of the family, as they are facing this loss without the peace that passes all understanding that we receive from the Lord.

Thank you for you prayers.  That means more to us than anything.

Until next time..
